This is a very large crop and taken through kitchen window but I thought it may bring a smile. I also wondered what the bird is? He/She was eating the new growth in our flower pots. I name her/him Big Foot because of the over sized claws for the body

It's a Wren. Nice shots.
And an interesting way to name one of our smallest birds! But, yes, they do seem to have dis-proportionately large feet!

Thanks Chris J for the ID and Stan for the comments. Yes not much of a background i'm afraid. I have been cataloguing the birds that arrive in our garden to see what turns up. I have missed a few, not fast enough, but it's interesting. Thanks again.
