I'm not a bird photographer but have always encouraged birds into the garden. This seems to me a lovely photo and an excellent first for the forum. Thanks for posting it and I look forward to more.Garrett

Hi Martin - welcome to the forum!
That's a nice shot for a first post, especially if you were using the 15-85. Even at 85 you'd have to have a fairly tame Robin to get too close, so well done!

Thanks for all the nice comments.
By the way Mike not sure if the robin was very tame, although most are, but I cheated by setting the camera up with a remote. Just required a lot of patience after first studying where best to point the cameraMartin
