Thanks, Muscat. The young one pecked at this poor gadwall for twenty minutes determined to make a meal of it, the parent bird also got in on the act and stopped it escaping. In the end they could not either break into the bird or swallow it. So they left it. at one stage two cormorants
got in on the act. Want to see the Pic? Danny
