Overall it was a disappointing trip with me making a lot of mistakes on metering, focusing and lighting.
The above pictures are the best of the bunch, and I'd appreciate honest and constructive feedback.
My thoughts are...
1. I struggled trying to get the swans looking white, almost there with Elements but not 100% happy.
2. Struggled to stop some areas of the swans losing detail due to contrast.
3. The ducks don't stand out enough for my liking, and I almost deleted this one.
At first I was disappointed with my efforts, then I realised that in many cases I knew what I had done wrong in terms of exposure, meter and focus settings. So if I take it as a learning experience it was a good morning.
And where I have struggled to understand how to take the shot, thats were the forums here and camera club can help.
