Hen Pheasant sitting

This hen is sitting on 14 eggs in the middle of our lawn in a patch of uncut daffodils. Concern about jackdaws circling.

Thats lucky, you must have a big lawn.
Obviously not the best of angles but OK for a record shot. Lets hope they hatch out then plenty of opportunity to shoot the little ones

Aren't you supposed to wait till they've grown up before you shoot them?

Some good photo opportunities coming along though methinks.
