      Me included , I thought the tell tale difference was in the sounds they make ? How do you tell from photos ? Cracking set of images you have , which ever tit is .

        Thanks all,

        It was the other guy in the hide that found it in his book, the Willow Tit has the light coloured stripe running down along its wings, the Marsh version does not have that and they are the same colour as the rest of the wing, it wasn't until recent years that they were noted to be two different types.
