            Just the way an office should be ............... functional.

            Unfortunately, mine is in the house and therefore comes under Mrs C's jurisdiction. That means tidy and regular vacuuming and dusting .............. it's just not right!

                  Gosh, Miles, that is a stunning image. I'm interested, when you go into a shoot like this would you have this image already in your mind or does it come to you during the shoot?

                    With the birds all you can do is plan the background and lighting then hope that the bird does something, you have no control over what they do once they are up there. Some will preen, some will flap their wings, some will look angrily at you and some like to fall asleep in the warmth. It can be a bit hit and miss with individual birds but we always photograph a number of birds so at least one of them should do something!

                      As an aside Miles, you have a friend of mine with you on the 10th December and I think she is doing Frogs.

                      Her name is Juanita and it would be quite good fun if you mentioned: "Colin said hello and don't have too many blond moments".
