    Gannets

    Taken at the colony at Cape Kidnappers, New Zealand.

    While I had my eye glued to the viewfinder I became aware of unrest in ranks. When I looked up, I was reminded that I'm in New Zealand!

    Beautiful birds Dave and i love the DOF used here, just enough detail in the background to let you know whats there.

        Really like the opener. Like the way the background shows the context.

        I can see the stereotypical comments - too many bright highlights, too distracting, blah blah blah. :-) But this works for me.
