    Diving Kingfisher

    Here is my shot of the diving kingfisher a split second before Colin's with his 200-400. As mentioned in the other thread, my shutter speed was half that of Colin so although the eye and body are sharp there is more movement in the wings

    Just as with Colins, a stunning shot, had I been there I would have got the twig!!

      this is the sort of shot I have been trying to get for 4 months now but always missed it so was pleased with this particularly using Colin's lens that i wasn't used to. Must have been a good omen as i got another dive just before I left

        Stunning shot Stan, as with Paul I would have got a nice uncluttered shot of the twig.
