    That is a great shot of a Robin, singing it's heart out.

    On balance, I think it's a male, but I understand and appreciate the sentiment behind your title.

              I was wondering quite how you tell the difference . Perched on the holly, a bit of snow and some red berries and it would be an ideal Christmas card

                They are very difficult to sex Stan unless you see the pair together where you may be able to pick out subtle differences , the females tend to be a bit bigger and males are usually more dark coloured on the breast and head

                      Thanks Tony. This was taken in my garden where they are nesting. The male been using this Holly Bush all the time as its look out, that is except for today - when it covered in snow!
