Haven't been round much over past 12 months or so due to health issues with my mum which has meant I've had little time or inclination for photography. Have been dropping by every so often and admiring the excellent work that is being posted by members.
Anyway back to topic of the post. Frequently walk past the nest site that I've photographed over past few years so always keep a look out for the birds return.
Did have odd siting of a single bird near the nest mid-late March. And over the last few days there has been a bird present most days, though annoyingly not when I go back with a camera.
Today I went to check and was surprised to see this bird siting in the nest apparently incubating.

Sorry for very poor image, nest site is deep in shadow in the afternoon and my spell of no photography is telling. Hope to be able to post more on this years progress as time goes on.
