    Kingfisher in the rain

    Spent a very rainy day in a hide at Otterbourne but the weather didnt bother this female who visited regularly during the day

    Great shot Stan, tricky compromise on shutter speed I would imagine between keeping the kingfisher sharp and getting to show the rain drops.

          Nice one Stan agree with Steve adds a bit of interest don't make the picture so bland

                  thanks for looking guys.

                  The rain and the light wasnt too bad for static photography as there was little chance of blowing the highlights but the constant fairly slow shutter speeds meant it was quite difficult for the diving shots
