Mute Swan cleared for take off

Out yesterday late afternoon at local pond - not much about except for a family of Swan's. Watched for about an hour - just about to go having taken a couple of photos when this swan decided it was time to go. Happened so quickly filled the frame in a couple of seconds. Anyway managed to get a few shots - some were even in focus!!!

Yep, 2nd one for me - love the legs just clearing the water, but both are very good.

The vignette is a little heavy for my liking, but horses for courses (or swans).... personal preference.

Thanks for your comments. Mike you may be right with vignette - doesn’t look as severe on full screen.

Very well caught. It's often the way with a blank day that it all comes together at the last minute.

Well caught, number one shows what a magnificent bird a swan is.
