    Linnet

    Taken a couple of days.
    It was a fair distance off, shot with 100-400mm L with 1.4x TC.
    This is my first image of a Linnet.

    Interesting, not seen many Linnets this year, normally by this time we got a few in the Scrub and a plentiful supply out on the Heath. They've also been noticeably absent from the stubble fields over the past few months. Only last week I threw half a bucket of seed up by the water trough, they normally hang around that area, but not this year.

        I have got a near identical photo except mine is in a christmas tree, but it's a keeper until a better closer opportune moment arrives.

              Nice shot Gary. I might have cropped some off the top and right hand side to lose the sky and put the bird on a third.
