    Kestrel Update 18-05-2020

    Bit late posting these, been a bit busy

    Female is starting to have trouble covering/keeping control of the chicks

    Male arrived with prey again and still offered the whole thing to one of the chicks

    Female returned to the nest and took the prey, a shrew this time (pointed snout)

    She took to nearby window ledge, easier to see that this is a shrew, where she removes the head ands some of the fur. You can see this is regular place from all the other bits and pieces of previous prey.
