    New Kingfisher location

    Hi all,

At last I have found another Kingfisher location, since seeing it from a distance I have added a perch and waited and waited and waited........

On streams such as this there are an abundance of natural perches, sadly.

Eventually one landed, I think maybe a juvenile

Well done Paul. From all of my Kingfisher sites I haven't seen one all season.

                            Nice set, lovely location.

The close ups are definitely juvenile, can tell by the "muddy" feet and breast, and the white tip on the beak, its also a female as you can tell by the slight orange tint in the lower bill :)
