Hi All,

I don't know if I am alone but I keep a diary of what I do photographically every day, I do it in the hope of learning patterns from wildlife as to when they do what they do, not sure I have learned anything from it but I keep doing it anyway and each day I record the time of watching at the location of choice, today, for some perverse reason I added up the hours I had spent waiting for this Kingfisher fishing shot, it was 81 hours waiting, what a pity it chose a perch in such poor light and with a poor background, but I was still grinning from ear to ear!

Three great shots Paul. No you are not alone I keep a detailed Diary/Log of everything, especially sightings - First and Last, Grid Ref, Times, Time spent at Locations, Weather etc.
I know what I did, what the weather was and what I saw twenty years ago today and beyond that. --- Wife thinks I'm potty

Awesome set. I also make notes of where I have shot location time and date also weather. I tent to revisit site a lot. now since Covid19 I am restricted to my little ranch..

Such patience, but well worth it to get these 3 shots, I am still waiting for my first Kingfisher shot, but not spent a quarter of the time you have Paul, so will keep trying.
