    Kingfisher

    Hi All,

I have wanted this shot for the last 3 years of watching Kingfishers, sadly when it came the light was crap and it was raining, 20 mins earlier the light had been beautiful, so the quest goes on

It might have been raining but it’s still a great shot. You’ve been very patient or persistent, not sure which!

          Great shot Paul
That brings back so many memories of when I was filming. We spent a week or more trying for a take like this, but the bird landed on every perch in the river but the the 'No Fishing' post. eventually we did get our shot, but I was never happy with it.

They work for me, it's usually raining when I go fishing lol.

They work for me as well, especially #1. I may have not cropped any off the left hand side of #2 so the kingfisher is not looking directly out of the frame.
