    Where to visit?

We have a break booked (covid permitting) mid May in Brixham and are thinking of stopping for a couple of days to do a bit of photography on the way down.

Thinking of either Lodmoor or Blashford. Any comments?

Or somewhere else in that kind of area.

Have you thought about the New Forest Dartford Warblers, Hobby etc. Not been to Blashford for fourteen months, the last few times I visited it seem to have gone a bit dead, the hides have been closed,
Lodmoor OK, but can get a bit crowded, perhaps more so now once lock-down is lifted and people start letting off steam.
Others that come to mind is Dartmoor, Yarner Woods, Slapton Ley, is a short drive from Brixham, and Berry Head at Brixham itself excellent for seabirds. - Guillemots, Razorbills, Peregrine.

Thanks for reply Trev. I'll do bit more research in light of your comments.

Berry Head is place we visit every time we go to Brixham, sometimes as part of walk from Kingswear. Thought about Slapton Ley before but didn't get there.
