Thanks Trev. Think it's been about same time for me at Attenborough Nature Reserve. Discovered there are a couple of pairs on a reservoir, about 15 mins drive from home.

Only about 1200 pairs breed in UK so quite rare. There is the more common ringed plover which is a bit bigger, not really that helpful unless you see them together.
