Osprey - What's the world coming to?

Although this was taken in Florida, I'm so incensed by what's happened in Wales I just wanted to make a point. How anyone can cut down a tree where Ospreys are nesting defies belief. There are certainly some very sick people out there. I just hope they are caught and dealt with appropriately. Apologies for the rant.

EOS 1DX with 300mm f/2.8L IS II lens and 1.4 III converter.

    Thanks for looking.

I echo your words Brian - no doubt if caught it will be a slap on the wrist BTW Nice shot, but it seems it was unlucky!

Thanks Trev. It wasn't fishing. It was in a shallow lagoon and had been preening.

Lovely shot Brian. Agree with your comments on the North Wales issue, heard it on BBC news this morning - totally disgusting. Just hope the culprits are caught and punished severely.

It's an absolute tragedy what has happened at Llyn Brenig. I hope the ospreys can re-establish their nest on another platform.
