    Kestrel 06/05

    Sorry for not posting but seems everything was working against me. Torrential rain for a couple of days then mist in the valley which made it hard to even see the building. And on top of that my lens has developed a fault.

    Anyway some (not too good) images from the 6th, female was sleeping because it was quite cold and only moved after a couple feral pigeons thought about landing in the nest hole. She gave them a hard stare

    So sadly it looks like I'll miss the first hatchings as I'm off to Northumberland tomorrow. Will catch up on my return.
