Yesterday evening I had a conversation with our Son and Daughter in Law, they had spotted a Sparrowhawk in their garden and were concerned that it was taking an interest in their pair of Shetland Ducks!
I was bemoaning the fact that I'd not seen a hawk in our garden for quite some time, this morning that changed. I believe its breakfast was a house sparrow as they had earlier been feeding on peanuts at a feeder to the RHS of these two frames. Quite heavy crops to these as I was only using my 300L F4 lens.
#1 I'll need to tidy up the debris later, Mrs S it a bit squeamish with things like this.
#2 Nearly ready to depart, I think it heard the shutter sound
