    Winter has arrived!

1st December, the Redwings have arrived to strip the berries from my holly tree. It must be winter!

Thanks all for the comments. I love the Redwings, they arrive about now every year and strip a tree full of berries in less than two days. I've taken to covering a small portion of one of the trees so that I have a few berries for Christmas decoration.

Great to get such a clear view of them, mine are always at the back of the bush and impossible to get a great shot like yours.

They are very skittish, but I 'm fortunate to have a bedroom window overlooking that holly tree.
