Interesting encounter this morning at the top of the garden. Two male Dartford Warblers were flying frantically in and out of an area of Gorse. Both seem to be carrying something then disappearing into thick cover behind the badger sett. It look's to be part insect part vegetation, I can only assume they were taking this to a female to get her favour, although its very early for mating. Neither male was show any aggression towards each other.
