    Nightjar (M)

Roosting male Nightjar. These birds are notoriously difficult to locate when they are at roost. I've been looking for few weeks now at likely location, and this morning I came across this one. When on the ground they blend in perfectly with their surroundings, and usually when at rest, this one as can be seen was standing out like a sore thumb.
