    Couple of images from a visit to Burton Mere

    Marsh Harrier - a bird that seems to be increasing in numbers and can be see in a lot of different places in the UK

    Glossy Ibis - a much rarer sighting and we were lucky to see it as it only stayed for 15 miniutes

            Thanks all for kind comments. Was out today in the rain at WWT Martin Mere. Actually a good day - goldeneye, cattle egret, peregrine, Buzzard and several Marsh harriers were highlights of the 48 species we saw today.
