Very nice Mark I wish they flew over my garden, I am guessing that it was quite a big crop as there seems to be some noise on my monitor

Quick grab shot and only had the 70-200L on the camera ........... it was a big crop, but best I've got so far ............. will keep trying !!!

That is a marvelous shot of a fantastic bird. The colour is absolutely stunning. Excellent pose and super eye-contact.

Stunning pose and where better to shoot than from your own home.

With such a big crop, I would be tempted to select the sky and use some noise reduction techniques on it, or at the very least deal with the Chrominance aspect of the noise. Well worth a try.

I think you have done really well with this from your garden, they frequently fly over my garden but usually from too high an altitude for my 70-200,
