Very nice I can see detail in the white feathers (something I struggled with when getting swan pictures.)

I can see detail in the white feathers

I always find that the egret feathers are quite smooth so often not much detail to be had and like with swans its very easy to blow them out and lose any detail anyway

Very nice Stan love the composition, these birds are begining to be seen in the wild now. I saw one off the Dorset coast last year but as usual when I see something nice I didn't have my camera.

are you thinking of something else Ray as little egrets are quite common at most places i visit particularly on Brownsea lagoon where i have seen a dozen or more
