Hi Stan. It's strange, sometimes the pictures are available to see and other times not. I am not sure if it is something to do with Flickr, this site or just net congestion.

Your both probably right. It is a big crop. Maybe cropped to much. Ha ha. Must get closer to the subject. By the way hopeless at bird recognition, is it a Golden Eagle or some very rare sighting?

The image is as illusive as mikep's Great Crested Grebe (sorry Mike)
One minute it's there then it isn't.

I have now reposted, in fact twice. The whole system is against me today. These, these computers, I think they are so inhumane...............................or is it those pesky gremlins. I suffer greatly from the gremlins. It can be so painful. LOL

it would be better if the bird was not looking out of the frame but with the composition I dont think you could have avoided it
