On the first one focus seems to be on the feeder rather than the bird, do like the second one though. Even got a catchlight in the eye. imho.
On another matter... try taking the fat balls out of the green net. Not only will it take one artifical aspect out of the photo, its also supposed to be better for the birds, so they don't get their feet tangled.Di ~ Trying to take "the" photograph.

You're right about the focus on the first one, I had not noticed until you mentioned it.
