    Great spotted Woodpecker

I have been baiting a tree with (expensive) Brazil nuts for the past fortnight, and finally got a chance to take some photos of the Woodpecker that has been visiting.
I actually took about 80 shots, but they were all virtually the same. I guess once the Woodpecker is in position, he just eats.
I have posted a couple of photos and both exposures have been adjusted slightly in photo elements. I am not sure which I prefer (or which is more technically correct),but other peoples opinion would be welcome,
    cheers,
    John.

        Well done excellent shots
Might be worth checking the white balence as they both seem to have a sloight magenta cast

            Cheers Stan,
I cannot see the magneta cast, But I have never callibrated my monitor, so I would be interested if anyone else sees this. (Then I will be asking for advise on how to calibrate)!

Me thinks that he's going to be coming back through out the winter now. Better buy some more nuts.
