    Finally sorted out adjustment on a couple of lenses So far seem to be much sharper even at 2.8

    Some good feather detail Treff but the background is a bit messy for my liking and you have a fcouple of oof twigs going through the bird.

      Agree with Stan BUT no getting away from the fact it's a cracking shot - lovely and sharp on the feather detail

        Thanks for looking and comments. I have used this old friend to micro adjustment on my lens. He or she always seems to turn up when I need something interesting to focus on.

          A really sharp photo. I was wondering what lens it is? ( I think that the sharpness lets you get away with all those branches)

            Thanks crook and churn. The lens is Canon 200mm which is great but a little on the short side for birds. I have to develop skills in camouflage to get closer but his little Robin seems to pose for the camera with out problem. In future I will train all the local birds to sit for me. It will be much cheaper than buying longer lenses.
