    Starling.

    Heres a Starling that happily posed for a quick portrait shot!

    I used Photoshop to make the image straight and only very slightly adjusted the contrast.

    The main thing to capture with starlings is their irredescent colours and you have got them spot on here

      Thanks Stan, The sun was setting behind me luckly enough. I shot this with a Tamron 70-300 Di VC USM @300mm.
      Canon 60D, Canon BG-E9 grip, Canon 17-40L lens, Sigma 50mm 1.4 HSM, Tamron 70-300mm Di VC USM, 2x converter.

              Cracking shot you have the colouring just right. I have found this to be one of the hardest of birds to get right photographically.
