Dead Oak Tree!

Down the lane a short distance from me is this dead Oak Tree. To me there's something special about the thing, although dead its so majestic with its living cousin giving it a back-drop.
Some may say why has he posted that, simple - I see great beauty in it, it fascinates me every time I pass it.

Know what you mean always like looking at mature trees. Don't know if you watched the excellent series, 'The Detectorists' it had some fantastic locations with great trees both living and dead.
