Can someone please identify the species?

I'm hoping the knowledgeable people on here can identify which species of tree these are from.It's the storm-damaged one outside my window from lunchtime today,and will be completely gone by next Tuesday.

Looks like Beech Roy.

European Beech - Fagus sylvatica

Considering we can see some remains of the blossom and some forming fruit I would say it's a cherry of some kind. Possibly Bird Cherry (Prunus Padus) or one of the cultivars.

I've now got the definitive answer from one of the tree surgeons who have finally seen it off..it was a Bird Cherry.
