    Porcelain Fungus

    Porcelain Fungus growing on a Beech Tree as is normal. Some quite nice effects can can be had if you can light these from above - small flash, even a torch. These were high up so out of the question.

          Great shot Trev, but I thought you might have at least climbed the tree to put into practice the theory you are telling us about. Just cannot get the staff these days.

              Never had a ladder with me David. But with Christmas coming I’m buying the wife a set of Climbing Irons.

                Great image, exposure is spot on.

                Was surprised at both the number of species and the amount of fungi we saw round Loch Lomond.
