    What is it?

Found this while doing a bit of hedge laying this morning attached to a small twig. Obviously a fungus but I'm at a loss to ID it, never seen anything like it before. They are water droplets around the cup edge

The upper side seems to have a furry texture

Quite small as can be seen in comparison to a penny

Thanks Alan, Hedgerows are so important to me, they are corridors for our wildlife. Grubbing out a section of hedgerow is the same as digging up a section of the M6 or some other major motorway.

Excellent images. No idea on ident so cheated and tried Google Lens it suggests Crepidotus lundellii.

                Looks pretty close to me.

Thanks Tiger, Ant. I looked both those up before I posted and decided against both. What's throwing me is the texture of the upper cup it's almost like fur. I looked at it with a high power magnifier, pity it's so small.
