I had a quick wander around the garden this morning accompanied by a few drops of rain. I hope you enjoy the trip around the Dahlia Patch.
#1 First variation this one is classified as a Waterlily.
#2 A Yellow Honka, this is classified as a single Orchid. This flower is past its best and will probably drop its petals overnight.
#3 This a small border type Dahlia that this year I've grown in pots, it has very dark foliage. Produced by a grower that is located very near to Hadrian's Wall.
#4 From the same supplier as #3 above with similar dark foliage.
#5 Another small variety growing in pots. This one is going over as it has a deeper colour the newer flowers will be a brighter yellow set off with dark foliage.
