    Peacock Butterfly

Over past few days with damp and cooler weather it seemed all the butterflies had disappeared but warm weather of today seems to have brought all them out again.

In particular have lots of peacock butterflies. As other people have noticed there are far more insects/butterflies this year.

    Re: Peacock Butterfly

    Thats a nicely detailed peacock.

We have a butterfly bush in the garden and this week i have never seen so many butterflies and different species on it. Watching this afternoon in just half an hour there were peacocks, red admiral, small tortoiseshell, meadow brown, comma, large and small whites, painted lady, brimstone and an unidentified largish moth
