    Common Darter?

This guy paid a visit to the garden today. Hopefully Stan can confirm that it is a Common Darter. I went with the 'Common' because if it was in my garden then it must be common and numerous!!!

Very good captures Dave. Number 2 for me as I like the way its wings are folded round the berry. Just shows it pays to make your garden insect friendly

Dave - The garden used to be plant friendly until the arrival of Jasper then Pepe now it's a desert Hence my surprise at finding this guy on one of the few remaining dog hardy plants.

Thanks Stan for confirming my identification.

I like how you can see through the wings to the berries.
