    Nicely done Stan. I still haven't mastered the art of catching them in flight just keep trying.

            Thanks guys

            Hawkers are quite difficult as they seem to be on the go all the time and changing direction at random but they do pause momentarily before doing so and by watching them you can sometimes anticipate what they are going to do

              Another great shot from Dee, never mind Stan you'll get there! You can really see the fragility of the Hawker's wings, lovely colours and DoF.

                I have pne of two from previous occasions but this day the camera just would not lock on quick enough. Overall though this year for flight Dee is in the lead
