    Captured Fly

Unfortunately I missed the action as I saw this small fly land in the spiders web whilst watering my hanging baskets , the spider immediately pounced on the fly and began killing it and there was a bit of a struggle , I rushed into the house to get the camera gear but when I returned it was all over and the fly had been killed, wrapped up and left hanging vertically in the web ready for later.
