    A potter around the Patio

    Really the title should have been potter around a Buddleia Bush.

    #1 A Peacock I think



    #2 A Meadow Brown maybe? not noticed this species before, it wasn't very cooperative either, It wouldn't smile for the camera



    #3 A bee showing off its hanging upside down skills



    #4 I believe this is a type of Hoverfly but I'm not sure of the name, it is the body colour that seems different to the ones I usually see in the garden.
    Any identification please?

        Lovely set Peter, close up of butterflies are not an easy subject regarding DOF, unless you can capture them square on - but they never seem to want to play the game.
        BTW, Yes its a Meadow Brown & Peacock.

              Nice set of images. Hover fly looks a bit like Eristalis pertinax. Could be wrong though as there are just so many.
