    BWC Red Squirrel

    We went to the BWC members lunch yesterday and after along with the dozen or so other guests had the run of the place for a couple of hours - what a refreshing change without the usual crowds. Here is one of the reds posed on the fence - not a "natural" background but the light was nice

    7D, 70-200 f2.8 + 1.4x, 1/320, f4, ISO 800

    Great Shot Stan, lovely composition, colour and lighting.

    I think due to the background it has the look of a studio shot.

      Very good Stan. They really are cheeky little blighters. The day we were there one ran up a long white lens to have a good look at the camera. It wasn't mine and unfortunately I missed the shot.

        I think due to the background it has the look of a studio shot.
        the red squirrels are in a large walk through enclosure and the background is part of the metal sheeting which forms the perimeter. It soes look a bit like a studio backdrop but although these squirrels are quite "tam2. I doubt you would get one in a studio

        They really are cheeky little blighters. The day we were there one ran up a long white lens to have a good look at the camera
        yes they were running up legs and over cameras yesterday as well and in my case lleaving a rather large deposit on my sleeve

                they kept them for the squirrels - we had soup and jacket potatoe and the most yummy chocolate cake
