            Are the comorants eyes generally green as in the pics?
            Yes indeedy, although they show out more in bright sun, as in this shot.

                Yes indeedy, although they show out more in bright sun, as in this shot.
                Also without the sun you lose a lot of the feather detail / colour as well

                    Every time I see a cormorant they are just a little too far away.
                    of my regular locations, barnes is the only place where they are regularly quite close. At Brownsea and Blashford there are always loads of them but usually way on the far side of the lakes
