Two days ago I could have stood on my pond ice, slowly melting as we warm up.

You will be astounded to hear that even down on the Sussex coast I had a large amount of ice on the fish pond in the garden a few days ago, only kept partially free by the circulating water. Good to see you’re coming out of the deep freeze!

Summers on the way David, mine don't freeze over, its fed from a waterfall that keeps the water moving. On the small pond we got loads of Frog spawn at the moment with about thirty frogs all doing what they got to do.
