SWMBO & I were in Cornwall last week and we popped into Padstow for a wander round and a 99. It was its usual busy self!

Nope Rick is sitting out the back of his fish & chp shop, counting his millions from the over priced food he sells out front.
Well composed shot John, seems quieter than normal.

                        Nice one John

Padstow is very photogenic and the small harbour does lend itself so well to panos such as this. I also like Padstow but am saddened by how busy it's become over the years that we've been going; it's all we bloody visitors staying at campsites like Carnevas that are the trouble

                        Cheers,
                        John

I wonder how many people know what an "Emmet " is?

Originally meant an ant, and presumably by extension applied to tourists who are crawling all over the popular destinations.

Grockle, on the other hand, is reputed to derive from an apparently famous Swiss clown by the name of Grock (me neither). Visitors to coastal resorts came to be known as little Grocks (or Grockles) because of their boorish and clownish behaviour. I think I prefer to be an emmet.
