    Pre-nup wedding shoot

I've been asked to do another wedding...tonights meeting was for planning and some pre-nuptual shots.

This is the wedding location....I'm a bit concerned that the shots on the day will look the same with different costume!

Any comments, tips, ideas for improvement are welcome please...

    Ooh Brampton!!

Got a piccie of me astride that cannon taken about 55 yrs ago!

Seriously, though, these look fine, although beware of strange branch shapes behind heads ... pic 1.

I like the framing in number 2

I don’t think the cannon shot works, the front is too dominating .Any chance of parking her elegantly on the knob on the side and he can stand next to her? Depends on the dress I guess.

Good luck on the day. Gosh you are brave..

Don’t suppose you could go inside? Some lovely shots to be had amongst the old sets inside
Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

Oh thanks Bo, she is not having a full length dress so yes she may be able to get onto that.....now inside is a great idea....thanks for the background comments too......wedding ceremony is in the Registry office...I dont like it in there...tricky light.

The last one is nice. Rather you than me though with a bride in glasses and a groom who looks like he is finding it hard to smile naturally!

Thanks for picking up on the absence of a smile....he really is going to be hard work. Now I know him a bit Ill be able to think of something to make him smile....and hopefully he'll relax after the ceremony.

I think you are very brave to take this on Brian, I wouldn’t have a clue. But looking at the first one, I was being pickie, I saw the tree branch, a finger growing out of her dress on the shoulder & the fact she is punching him in the stomach. I am picking up tips like this from the wife’s comments to my shots.

Thanks Dave....I’d not spotted the finger. I’ll be lending a wedding photography book to the bride do she can study poses and dos and donts...I’ve done that before and it certainly helped. On the day it’s really hard to spot all those details....thanks

Crikey Trev...I wouldn't know where to start with video.....capturing fractions of a second has got to be easier than continual filming.
                      Thanks Tom
