    6th February 2017 ! Treaty Ground

Following on from my "Waitangi Day" post in the Transport section of the forum. These are some of the images of the goings on at the Treaty Ground.

As always your thoughts and comments welcome.

#1 The band prepare to lead the March.

#2 I can't remember if he asked to be in the image or he just decided to photobomb it

#3 Marching around the Treaty Ground.

#4 Some of the canoes (Waka) and crews arriving at the Treaty Ground.

#5 I thought it would be rude not to capture the Maori Ink work.

Trev the Treaty Grounds are in an area called the Bay of Islands near Paihia ( pronounced "Pie Here") on the North Island of NZ.
I'm not sure who the pennant belongs too though sorry.

According to a relative from New Zealand the the pennant is in fact the Four Tribes flag. She is confident of that as she asked the question. Locally
